Version:            (using KDE 4.4.0)
Compiler:          gcc version 4.3.4 (Gentoo 4.3.4 p1.0, pie-10.1.5) 
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

It appears that when closing a window, the focus is switched to the last window that was created, not the last window that had focus.

1. Close all open windows, or switch to an empty virtual desktop.
2. Launch kwrite
3. Launch konsole
4. Change window focus to kwrite
5. Launch another konsole.
6. Close the konsole launched in step 5.
7. Observe that konsole is in focus, not kwrite.

It's worth noting that if you try the above steps with konsole, konsole and konsole (instead of kwrite, konsole and konsole), everything works correctly.
