According to bug 219590, this should be fixed when using "kpackagekit-0.5.4-2.fc12". Is that your kpackagekit version ? Regards

To reproduce, launch kpackagekit (or wait an avant from the yum-updated deamon) and select some updates. Launch the update process, select another window to do someting else, the program will crash.
