Description Sabine Faure 2010-02-26 23:14:07 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch KOrg
- Create a new event called Test 1, location: Office
- click on 'ok'
- reopen it and click on the 'Manage Templates...' button
- In the 'Manage Event Templates' dialogue click on 'New...' and enter a name for the template.
- Click on 'Ok' twice
- Create a new event called Test 2, location: Home
- Click on 'Manage Templates...', select the template you've created and click on 'Apply'

All the information from the template are applied to the new event but all the previouly typed information (Test 2, Home) has been lost and has to be retyped.

Could there be a warning message saying that the data entered will be erased when applying the template?
But if possible only showing when data has already been typed in the event before applying the template.

It would help the user realize that the templates have to be used on empty new events.
