Version: (using KDE 4.4.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Make a configuration dialog with several options of what to do about the taskbar notification, my idea: Similar to the pidgin plugin make kopete change the title of the chat window upon new messages, like this: [user] sends a message, window title changes to "* [user]" [user] sends another message before the window gets focus, window title changes to "* (2) [user]" I make this request because even though I have "highlight entry in the taskbar" activated as notification there is no noticeable change that would tell me which window exactly has a new message and this feature would fix that problem for me in the way I expect it.
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
