Application that crashed: korgac Version of the application: 0.9 KDE Version: 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4) Qt Version: 4.5.3 Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 i686 Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux testing (squeeze) What I was doing when the application crashed: while starting korganizer the CPU gets very busy for a few minutes and finally it does not really start. On the same computer kmail starts, but crashes when the message is clicked to be read and KDE application louncher also does not start. On the same computer also in kde3.5 kmail did not work altogether. It seems to me that the communication between the applications and hardware may be the trouble. lshw reads as follows: description: Desktop Computer product: System Product Name vendor: System *** Bug 228637 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
I loaded addresses from the .ldif file exported from my home computer - originally from the Kaddressbook in KDE3.5 version. If necessary, I look for the resource identifier in stdrc file in .../kresources/contact/ directory in my /home directory tomorrow - the crash is on my office computer. Try kdepim 4.6. KCal and KRES aren't used anymore.
