Description kdebugs 2010-02-24 11:50:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Consider a usecase where the user switches between different keyboard layouts and has varying "special definitions" for each of those layouts. The "special definitions" differ from layout to layout.

As a example - i use german qwertz layout without any special definitions and qwerty-us with a xmodmap that maps Capslock-o to ΓΆ (and so on for various umlauts).

The kde layout switcher already has a inputbox showing the command used to change the keyboard layout. It would either be nice to make a custom command assignable with each keyboard layout (that is executed when the layout is activated) or to simply make that inputbox editable for maximum customizability.
