Version: 1.0.0 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-19-generic I have activated rich-text in MSN and Google Talk accounts. I haven't modified the default formatting options, though. When I paste rich text and send it in a conversation, sometimes my own text formatting options are changed. It seems I "inherit" the properties of the pasted text. For example, if I paste a link copied as underlined text, my own text is underlined from that point on. The worst case is when the text has a black background and I'm using MSN. As Kopete only let you change your font text but not its background for MSN accounts, is not uncommon to end up with black text on black background, with no way to revert the background to a readable color. Kopete should keep the formatting options of the user even if text is pasted.
I have the same problem. Often, after pasting a link, I can only write in underlined text after that. and often, the background color is set to black from unknown reason. I use icq protocol, and there it is even worse, because, in icq no formatting options are available/displayed. Only way to get rid of it, is deactivate formatting. by the way: I see no sense in an option to (de)activate formatting in icq, when no formatting is available.
