It can be opened fine with Dolphin. Just to check that this is not a Phonon/KDE problem, could you try this ? - Try opening the DVD using "xine-ui" or "gxine", "mplayer" or "smplayer" If those applications crash/close too, then this should be problably reported upstream. Regards
