(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package:           kghostview
Version:           0.11 (using KDE 2.1.9 >= 20010310)
Severity:          normal
Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)
OS:                Linux (i586) release 2.4.0-prerelease
OS/Compiler notes:

With recent versions of CVS kghostview tries to load a pdf or ps file displays the correct number of pages but each page is blank. Turning on the messages gives:

However running gs on the same file does show the contents. I have not found a single file that will work with kghostview since version 2.1

I have also experienced this problem in my current configuration. The
PDF viewer that came with Mandrake Linux 8.0's KDE seemed to work.
Unfortunately Adobe's install of their Linux version of Acrobat Reader
leaves something to be desired...

Given the bug's age and lack of precision instruction to trigger it off (I can certainly
view postscripts and pdfs), I am closing with WORKSFORME.
