Description Sabine Faure 2010-02-19 17:24:01 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch Kontact and go to KOrg
- Click on the 'New Event' button
- Enter a title and location for the event
- Enter today's date but a starting and ending time that are in the past.
- Click on 'Ok'
- An 'Event Entry Validation - Kontact' pop up dialogue appears with the following message: 'You specified a starting date/time in the past 'day month date starting time year time zone'
- click on 'Continue'
- the following message is now displayed in the pop dialogue: 'You specified a starting date/time in the past 'day month date ending time year time zone'
- Click on 'Continue' and the pop up dialogue disappears
- The event is created in the past.

I think the aim of this pop up dialogue is just to inform the user that the event is going to be created in the past.
But I think there should only be one dialogue displaying both messages and an 'Ok' button instead of a 'Continue' button which means clicking twice before the event is actually created.

Current KOrganizer does not display this dialog.
