Description m.wege 2010-02-17 23:16:33 UTC
Version: 2.3.4 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-8.slh.1-sidux-686

i would like to suggest an extended integration of integration of kget into konqueror and rekonq in order to get a more advanced download handling. i would like to easily set up a filter which is able to catch downloads from a specific website (e.g. my bank, my phone company). in pratice this would mean an icon in the urlbar in the browser and may be an item in the context menu. if i click on this a menu "track downloads from this page" would appear allowing me to configure the site filter (just in case my bank uses different subdomains e.g.) and as it allready exists the filter which catches filnames and types. i can then set what is to happen with a download like
- automatically open
- automatically save without confirmation in a specific folder
- send via email to?
- put tags to the file
- may be more
- if possible also catch downloads from firefox
