Description Alexander Kiselyov 2010-02-15 13:01:43 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.4.0)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Archlinux Packages

Even if in xorg.conf gamma is unequal to 1.0, after splash screen gamma is set to 1.0 for all RGB channels. Only when "Display Settings" dialog is started, then gamma is set to expected values (in my case, 0.65 0.65 0.6).

Check boxes in "Display Settings" "Monitor Gamma" tab:
"Save settings system wide" - checked (when unchecked, the same behavior is observed);
"Sync screens" - checked.
