Sound like a binary compatibility issue on your system. digiKam packages need to be recompiled against new KDE4 version. Gilles Caulier
I did twice. I updated all packages from KDE 4.4 and in one time also Digikam. But no success. Also downgrade doesnt help me.
Check all digiKam depencies comming from KDE4, as libmarblewidget. look in README for details about digiKam depencies. Gilles Caulier

No idea about this problem really. It's sound like KDELibs 4.4 API about KIOSLave has a problem, but i'm not sure. Under KDE 4.3, no problem here, all recompiled myself. Perhaps you can try to recompile yourself digiKam ? Gilles Caulier

This problem is relevant of digiKam KIO slaves which are dropped since version 5.0.0 in favor of a multithreaded interface to query the database. It will not reproducible.
