Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I updated digikam to svn version 1089969 and I tried a couple other versions before that (yesterday and today), but there are no tags in My Tags window since 1086154 of the svns that I have tried. So now "My Tags" -window on the right sidepanel in Caption/Tags is always empty except for single item My Tags, which has a nice icon before it. Trying to Read metadata from file to database, restarting digikam or recreating database doesn't have any effect. Everything else relating to tag works fine.
I just fixed this (hopefully). Try a double click on that "My Tags". It should simply be collapsed.
You're rigth, it's fixed. My tags are simply collapsed, but I think it's misleading because there is no plus sign before it, only icon. I didn't think of trying double click because it hasn't done anything in the past. By the way, why is there only one root item in the window, My Tags? Are you planning to add some other hierarchy there as well? Other tags as in Adobe Bridge editions would be really useful :) They include all the tags that are not in the user's own hierarcy, tags that someone else has assigned to the image. It would help to keep the My Tags hierarchy looking nice.
This should not happen now anymore. Right now there are now plans for other tag hierarchies. The root tag is there to be able to create new tags under it via right click.
