Description andrew 2010-02-14 00:52:29 UTC
Version: 1.13.0 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Chakra)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-ARCH

I am using a laptop and accessing gmail via imap using the kmail client in kontact.

After suspending the laptop (closing the lid) and resuming, kmail is unable to connect to and display gmail folders. It appears to go into an indefinite wait - the progress bar scans back and forward - but it never "finishes".

Quiting the program (kontact) and restarting it resolves the problem until the next time I suspend. I'm sure I have seen this bug reported for an earlier version of kmail but I'm unable to find the report again. Please pay this bug some attention as it is very annoying for typical laptop / netbook use.
