Description Mathieu Jobin 2010-02-13 23:09:47 UTC
Version: 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0) (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-20-generic-pae

this is an old usuability bug in konqueror that still remains in 4.4

after you self and CUT the url out of konqueror, you can't recover it (apart from klipper)

ESC should put it back
and F5 should be able to refresh the page anyway, instead of displaying an error message saying 'Malformed URL'

thanks

not 'self' but 'select'

F5 works for me. At least on a fully-loaded page. Did you mean on a page that was still in the initial stage of loading?

In addition, the discussions in bug 110430 and bug 123303 indicate that not everyone likes the fact that reload replaces the location-bar-URL with the page-URL...
