Description Christoph Lange 2010-02-11 21:03:36 UTC
Version: 4.4 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-thinkpad

The following menus are empty:

File→New
File→Import
File→Export
Edit
View
Tools

Also in the left and middle column I don't get a context menu.

Otherwise, my contacts are shown. Akonadi seems to be running correctly (pstree output below):

     ├─akonadi_control─┬─2*[akonadi_ical_re]
     │ ├─akonadi_maildir
     │ ├─akonadi_maildis
     │ ├─akonadi_nepomuk
     │ ├─2*[akonadi_vcard_r]
     │ ├─akonadiserver─┬─mysqld───34*[{mysqld}]
     │ │ └─13*[{akonadiserver}]
     │ └─4*[{akonadi_control}]

Hej,

works fine with a clean vanilla installation, so
either your installation is buggy or the packages you use.
I guess some outdated kaddressbookuirc somewhere in your $HOME/.kde
directory. Just remove this file.

Ciao,
Tobias

Thanks, that worked!
