Version: (using KDE 4.3.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages I typically have my monitor tilted up 90 degrees so that it is taller than it is long. However, every time I restart the computer, KDE restarts oriented in the default orientation (i.e. it assumes that the longer side of the monitor is oriented horizontally). So, after each reboot I have to go into the system settings, and then go to the "Computer Administation" section, "Display" subsection. As soon as I click on the "Size & Orientation" link (without clicking "Apply" or anything), the display immediately reverts to vertical. So it seems that as soon as the system enters the "Size & Orientation" page it may be reading a configuration file that is not getting read during bootup...
I have similar problem, but i believe it belongs to this bug too. I use two monitors. First notebook and second LCD monitor on which us putted left to the notebook. But i have to change position in the display settings on the external monitor to "Left of", because it is defautly using "right of" setting for this monitor. But since i logout and restart computer the LCD monitor is setup again "Right of" so i have to change it to "left of". This is reproducible always. Using Fedora 14 and KDE 4.5.4

No response; assuming it was fixed since then.
