Version:           0.80.2 (using 4.3.5 (KDE 4.3.5) "release 3", KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.12-0.1-default

when i start kopete, it fails to connect to msn.
all i see is a status "connecting" for my msn account.
quitting kopete gets me a popup saying "unable to connect to messenger server" with a "more info button". clicking on said "more info" button gets me a popup saying "this means that kopete was unable to connect to the messenger server."
...


anyways, at work kopete connects to msn just fine (running same kopete binary on the same linux distribution, the only actual difference is that at home i have unity media as my ISP and at work its vodafone).

pidgin works fine in both locations.

calling the "service status page" for msn from within kopete gets me a page showing an asp.net internal server error in both cases...

network config error... different MTU on router & desktop pc
