Description Frantic 2010-02-09 23:11:21 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.4.0)
Installed from:    Archlinux Packages

I'm running a dual monitor setup.
Using the nvidia driver with nvidia's twinView.

When maximizing a window, KDE properly maximizes it to the current screen's size.

Imagine the following screen vertical edges:
|1       2||3       4|
(so edge one is left of the left display, edge 2 is the right edge of the left display).

When I place a panel on edge 1 or 4, maximizing a window will work properly, and not cover it.
When I place a panel on edge 2 or 3, maximizing a window will ignore the panel, and place part of the window contents under it.

I've noticed this in KDE 4.3 and KDE 4.4.
