- Go to menu K and launch Kontact

Nothing happens, Akonadi server is not started automatically and Kontact does not launch.

Indeed it is corrected now.

This is an old bug from February and it has definitely been fixed since.

I had a similar issue, gdb attached showed that it stopped at

0x00007f97d59573c3 in *__GI___poll (fds=<value optimized out>, nfds=<value optimized out>, timeout=59993) at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/poll.c:87
87      ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/poll.c: No such file or directory.
        in ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/poll.c

ATM, I cannot use SVN version. Could you tell whether the bugfix was related to this error?
