Description Kamil Neczaj 2010-02-07 23:01:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

I open the 'Files' view (by default on left side) and right click on a directory, choose 'move to collection' or 'copy to collection' from the menu. Amarok asks me for the schema of saving files. I choose root/artist/album. The songs I copy/move are Dire Straits - Brothers in Arm album. Amarok choose randomly one file from the directory and copy/move it to the _file_ 'root/Dire Straits/Brothers in Arm', whereas it should make _directory_ 'root/Dire Straits/Brothers in Arm' and copy/move there all files.

If the file saving schema is root/artist/album/ (with slash at the end) the directory is made properly, but no files are copied there.

And which exact Amarok version is this about?
Comment 2 Kamil Neczaj 2010-02-12 21:24:06 UTC
it's 2.2.2

Changing the component, since this is about the OranizeFilesDialog. Casey, I guess this is fixed already for Amarok 2.3, right?
Comment 4 Kamil Neczaj 2010-03-27 00:07:04 UTC
Yes, it's fixed, but when I move songs amarok asks me if I want to move songs and after that do I want to delete them. One question should be enough.

That double question stuff is already reported in another bug.
-> WFM, as the exact revision when this has been fixed is unknown
