Version: (using KDE 4.4.0) Installed from: Unspecified Linux When at least one item is selected in Dolphin, please increase the size of the "persistent selection" (the + markers) so that they will be easier to click on. It is logical that if a user has already selected at least one item, then the chances are higher of his intention when clicking on another item being to select it as well. A larger + marker would make this easier. A side benefit of having a larger + selection marker would be to give a visual indication that there are in fact other selected files. Sometimes this is a problem if, for instance, the first icon is selected however because of scroll position the user does not know this is the case. I personally perform a drag-rubberband operation on the first file that I want to select to work around this possibility. Thanks.
