Application: kcmshell4 () KDE Platform Version: 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)) "release 212" Qt Version: 4.6.0 Operating System: Linux 2.6.25.20-0.5-pae i686 Distribution (Platform): openSUSE RPMs -- Information about the crash: Devs, Could not be sure this was an exact duplicate of the ones I reviewed, and I this report contains more information so I filed it separately. After rt-click of Adjust Date & Time in the kicker panel, the app crashed and dr konqi appeared with a 2-star report. This is on opensuse 11.0 with kde 4.3.90. To test if it was repeatable, I tried again, same resuls, now I have 2 dr konqi windows looking at me. The backtrace from the second is: Application: KDE Control Module (kdeinit4), signal: Segmentation fault [KCrash Handler] #6 0xb7dbd132 in KAuth::Action::Action(QString const&) () from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.5 #7 0xb769390f in KCModule::setNeedsAuthorization(bool) () from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.5 #8 0xb3fdcb99 in KclockModule::KclockModule(QWidget*, QList<QVariant> const&) () from /usr/lib/kde4/kcm_clock.so #9 0xb3fe0eff in QObject* KPluginFactory::createInstance<KclockModule, QWidget>(QWidget*, QObject*, QList<QVariant> const&) () from /usr/lib/kde4/kcm_clock.so #10 0xb7e6aefb in KPluginFactory::create(char const*, QWidget*, QObject*, QList<QVariant> const&, QString const&) () from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.5 #11 0xb415bfeb in KCModuleLoader::loadModule(KCModuleInfo const&, KCModuleLoader::ErrorReporting, QWidget*, QStringList const&) () from /usr/lib/libkutils.so.4 #12 0xb415ce07 in KCModuleProxyPrivate::loadModule() () from /usr/lib/libkutils.so.4 #13 0xb415db03 in KCModuleProxy::realModule() const () from /usr/lib/libkutils.so.4 #14 0xb415dba2 in KCModuleProxy::useRootOnlyMessage() const () from /usr/lib/libkutils.so.4 #15 0xb415f047 in KCMultiDialog::addModule(KCModuleInfo const&, KPageWidgetItem*, QStringList const&) () from /usr/lib/libkutils.so.4 #16 0xb5a75493 in kdemain () from /usr/lib/libkdeinit4_kcmshell4.so #17 0x0804e7cd in launch(int, char const*, char const*, char const*, int, char const*, bool, char const*, bool, char const*) () #18 0x0804efad in handle_launcher_request(int, char const*) () #19 0x0804f443 in handle_requests(int) () #20 0x0805018a in main () This may be the same info, but it is included for completeness.
