This always comes at a completely surprising moment.

I decided to report this one, because once it crashed at random this time, it kept crashing every time I tried to reopen it. Of course, NOW it's opened fine, but only after 3-4 tries. It will crash again, while playing a song. The audio will sputter out slowly and then it will die.

This is Kubuntu 9.10

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
