Version:            (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

As KDE 3.5 was discontinued, it becomes obvious that KDE 4 misses main functionality in printing, namey 'send to Fax' and 'mail as PDF attachment', which were both available in kprinter.

Both items are required in office automation on the desktop.

it would be great if this functionality could be reimplemented. What do you recommend as a workaround until something similar is implemented?

I LOVE these bugs where the first reaction comes after 8 years....and its a request to close it.

Printing to PDF is back, faxing...well, a bit out of fashin
