Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources When user clicks "save as..." to save file, the dialog does always have a aside preview open even that it would be closed every time. The aside preview is forced to take full size of the dialoge so user can not see files itself. So first thing what user need every time to do is resize the aside preview or turn it off. Everytime when the dialog is opened. The save as... dialog does not remember the users settings should the preview be shown or not and what size for it.
The wrong size of the preview are seems to be kdelibs problem. I tried to fix this but I didn't find a solution.
Does the problem be such that it is not possible to do a workaround by disabling the preview by default so it would not be in front everytime? Is there any new information about KDE trying to fix this kind bug if it is on their side?
