Version: unknown (using 4.3.98 (KDE 4.3.98 (KDE 4.4 RC3)) "release 216", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop to reproduce: - have another application window open (for example dolphin, or a browser) - have a systemtray application hidden in system tray (for example kmix or kopete) - now activate "kmix" by single click on system-tray. it is now in foreground - now click somewhere (not on the titlebar) on the other application window (for example dolphin, or a browser) result: kmix still covers the other window. this is not expected. the other window should get complete focus.

this bug in my opinion is not really a duplicate of the above bug because, a) this bug is not against kmix component (where nobody can't and will fix it), but against kwin (though I am not sure, if kwin is responsible, but I am sure, that kmix is not!) b) I described a 100% reproducable way, noone in other bug report did c) not only kmix is affected, but all programms running in system tray. I see that the bug for both bug reports has a common source. but as long the other bug information is not changed away from kmix, I reopen this bug,
a) It's not a KMix bug, but rather with the common systray icon implementation offered through plasma. b) Feel free to add your comments to that bug report c) Yeah, it's not a KMix bug. This is probably more of bug 203363. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 203363 ***
