Description csocratess 2010-02-01 18:56:10 UTC
Version: 1.12.4 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

I try to compose mail in Kmail
I open the compose mail window.
I enter a email address in the "To" field
Then I hit backspace to delete what i entered. If the backspace is hit for more characters than those existing, Kmail crashes.
example:
If i had typed foo@ and then I hit backspace for 5 or more times, Kmail crashes.

- Could you provide a backtrace from the Crash Handler dialog ? (more info at http://techbase.kde.org/User:DarioAndres/Basic_Guide_about_Crash_Reporting)
Regards

This is the crash report. The crash handler tells me that this is useless.
Pls tell me if I need to provide more details

Comment 4 Dario Andres 2010-02-06 00:07:33 UTC
Looks like a bug related to the Qt library. Thanks
Comment 5 Christophe Marin 2011-02-14 21:22:49 UTC
Nothing related to KMail in the above backtrace.
