Description Dorin Scutarașu 2010-01-30 14:32:34 UTC
Version: 1.0.0 (using 4.3.95 (KDE 4.3.95 (KDE 4.4 RC2)), Kubuntu packages)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-17-generic

My old password contained these non-alphanumeric characters ';/[', and each time I would write my password to log into my Yahoo IM account with Kopete, I would get an error message box (I don't remember the exact error message, but I'll try to reproduce the issue to find the error message if needed). I tried to log in several times paying attention that I don't make spelling mistakes but I would always get the error message. After I logged in to yahoo in the web browser and changed my password to something containig only alphanumeric characters, I was able to log into my yahoo account in Kopete.

Oh, one more thing - Kopete is awesome! Thank you to everyone who has put work into making it a great instant messaging application.
