An error ? Which one ? Gilles Caulier
Here is the message. Fehler bei der Bereinigung der EXIF-Ausrichtung für die Datei IMGP4640.PEF. greets mike
English version would be "Error while cleaning EXIF orientation for file IMGP4640.PEF" or something like that.
Gilles, can exiv2 write to PEF files at all?
Exiv2 kann write to PEF files, I'm doing it with a shell script at the moment. And it was possible with earier digikam versions. greets mike
digikam(18995)/KEXIV2 KExiv2Iface::KExiv2::save: "PENTAX-ISD.PEF" is TIFF based RAW file supported but writing mode is disabled. Metadata not saved. Did you enable writing to RAW files in the setup?
Ah you're right, that was disabled. Fo my somehow the rotation was something "basic" and usually metadata are something "additional" so I didn'T want my RAWs to be altered... When enabling it, it works. greets mike
