Description m.wege 2010-01-28 10:35:22 UTC
Version: 4.3.95 (KDE 4.3.95 (KDE 4.4 RC2)) (using 4.3.95 (KDE 4.3.95 (KDE 4.4 RC2)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-18-generic

At the moment Konqueror provides an annoying popup if it could not fullfill an nepomuk request because the services are not running. I my case this happens during session restauration and Nepomuk-services are not running yet. Having to click that popup away is just a useless interuption.
I would suggest the following for improvement:
- provide an error page, similar to that which is shown when a page can not be loaded because of a missing network connection.
- provide a button "try again" on that page
- provide a buttion "try again will all requests" if there is more than one tab with a failed nepomuk request
- automatically detect when the Nepomuk-reservices have come up and automatically try the request again.

Hi there, this bug has been identified to be related to nepomuk, the semantic searching system in prior versions of KDE. Please note that nepomuk has been replaced by Baloo. I'm going to close this bug due to the use of the new Baloo system. Please do file a new bug for frameworks-baloo if you happen to continue having issues with search.
