From that day on there where quite a number of error messages when I tried to switch between non-local folders of eMail-accounts. The message was: Error while searching. Searching of folder Unbekannt failed. The server returned: UID SEARCH: BODY and TEXT are not implemented Where >>Unbekannt<< is the name of the folder. This was invariant even in check the mail of different providers. (googlemail, web.de, alice-dsl.net) A >continue< button was provided. Sometimes all kmail came to a standstill afterwards that there was the need to kill the job. At no time there was a crash with a stack backtrace. This behaviour of any application in the kdepim-suite never happened before during the last 10 years. Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
