Version: (using KDE 4.3.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages The Plasma calendar has the Year's-Week info on the left of the calendar. While useful, its also somewhat cluttery and often doesn't fit into the space given. I would like to be able to turn this column off completely within the Plasmoid config. Thanks for KDE!

Created attachment 40263 [details] Once in double-digit weeks, having two doesn't fit and looks cluttered The last week of December shows that, when there are two weeks shown (due to my week starting on a Sunday, https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=224351 ), two weeks are listed and once we reach double-digits these week info doesn't fit so well and is cluttered.
The problem here is that the weeks column is hard-drawn in the svg background file as being equal in width to the day number columns, and so cannot be resized or turned off. What we need are new svg files that have a wider weeks column and no weeks column that we can load instead, and even then the drawing code will need modifying. Or an svg wizard to show me how to alter it in code.
SVN commit 1140835 by aboyer: Temporary workaround that makes week numbers more readable. Paint only the more important week number when the cell is small and both week numbers when there is enough room. A proper fix would be to change the svg to allow for a wider week number cell. We have discussed this option on the plasma developers list and decided this option will not be added to the standard clock widget.
