What I was doing when the application crashed:
I entered "kon" into the search field, then saw suggestions as "konsole", etc immediately.
After 3 seconds or something, I had brief hard-drive activity, then lancelot froze for about 30 seconds, after which it crashed.

Wild guess: It tries to obtain additional results via nepomuk and then crashes on timeout.

Perhaps it is stupid to report a bug shortly before 4.4, but maybe this is also present in 4.4 and can still be fixed in time?
