Description alex dekker 2010-01-21 16:17:02 UTC
Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

There is often unused whitespace in the Subject field in the list of messages. Using this space to display the first few characters of an email message greatly speeds up the mental navigation of a crowded inbox. Here is an example of a mail application that does this:

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.

Yes, I believe that this is still a valid feature request.
