Version: 2.2.2 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-4.slh.1-sidux-amd64 after reboot my external hd that holds the music collection is willinglynot mounted. if then in amarok i start playing from the existing playlist or from the collection it cycles through the playlist (obviously, there is nothing to play) and thenfreezes the app hard. i remember in 2.1 it also cycles through the list, but did not freeze. i could close it, mount the external disk and and restart amarok.
Could you please start Amarok in a konsole with amarok -d --nofork and try again? We would need the console output when it freezes.
Hi here is the output you wanted: .... amarok: END__: void VideoclipApplet::dataUpdated(const QString&, const QHash<QString, QVariant>&) - Took 0.082s amarok: BEGIN: void EngineController::slotStateChanged(Phonon::State, Phonon::State) amarok: [EngineController] [WARNING!] Phonon failed to play this URL. Error: "Prozess kann nicht gestartet werden: Aufruf des Ein-/Ausgabemoduls nicht möglich. klauncher meldet: Unbekanntes Protokoll „“. " amarok: BEGIN: void Playlist::Actions::requestNextTrack() amarok: [Playlist::Actions] so far so good! amarok: BEGIN: void Playlist::Actions::play(quint64, bool) amarok: BEGIN: void EngineController::setNextTrack(Meta::TrackPtr) amarok: [EngineController] locking mutex btw.: i first shut down amarok, then umounted the external disk, started amarok again. but this didnt lead to a freeze, it just keeps cycling through the playlist forever. so i rebooted and started amarok (with the disk left umounted) and it freezes seconds after i hit 'play' hope that helps. greetz ferdi Am Dienstag 19 Januar 2010 19:19:01 schrieb Myriam Schweingruber: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=223424 > > > Myriam Schweingruber <myriam@kde.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > - Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDSINFO > Component|general |Collection > Resolution| |WAITINGFORINFO > > > > > --- Comment #1 from Myriam Schweingruber <myriam kde org> 2010-01-19 > 19:18:57 --- Could you please start Amarok in a konsole with > > amarok -d --nofork > > and try again? Thank you for the feedback.
Is this still a problem with 2.3.0 or later?
no answer from the reported
Closing for lack of feedback. Please only reopen this report if you can reproduce this with Amarok 2.3.1 or later.
