Version: 1.68.0 (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages After successfully burning a DVD, a window appeared for a while inorder to load media for verifying. I has been doing other things, running Firefox, Thunderbird, GQView, LDAP Browser (Java app). The window spontaneously crashed. However, this is probably not related to the apps I run because I have burned several CDs and DVDs in this sw configuration minutes before. The crash is probably related to faulty medium /incorrectly burned medium /unreadably burned medium /crappy drive. This was the only DVD medium burned on the TEAC DV-W516GA, and it crashed. I have successfully burned DVDs on another drive, HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H54N, both with verification, no problem. The DVD medium after crash is unreadable in both drives. By all means, k3b should NOT crash either.
