Description H.H. 2010-01-18 08:37:12 UTC
Version: 4.4 rc1 (using 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)) "release 210", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop

In kaddressbook/kde3 there was a panel for groups. I like to be able to display such a panel (optional). And to be able to drag and drop contacts to add it to the group-addresses listed in the panel or drop them into a group (in the contact list).

Hej,

the concept in the new KAddressBook is to handle contacts and contact groups
in an equal way (user interface wise), therefor we won't provide such a separated
pane. However in future version the contact group editor dialog will be non-modal,
so you can open it and drag&drop items from the main view onto the contact group
editor to add new members to the group.

Ciao,
Tobias
