Version: 1.0 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), 4.3.4-3.fc12 Fedora (using KDE 4.3.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs Trying to get the categories in my blog on Typepad, Blogilo generates this error Server (XMLRPC) Error: Unknown method I can not add a new post because I can not assign it to a category. Maybe this can help "mt.getPostCategories", Returns a list of all categories To which the post is assigned. I found this on this page http://www.sixapart.com/developers/xmlrpc/movable_type_api/mtgetpostcategories.html
No, That method is used to fetch categories of one special post! Here(http://blogilo.gnufolks.org/forum/topic/fedora-gnome) one of our users has reported that blogilo has worked well with TypePad! come and ask him if he can fetch categories or not!? (Sorry, currently i can't test it with typepad) BTW, Run Blogilo from terminal, and check it's output! can help more
I have added a note in the forum, http://blogilo.gnufolks.org/forum/topic/fedora-gnome. I want to help, but I have no idea how to run from terminal. If you tell me how to do it I can bring the output. Then type blogilo in the terminal and paste the output here.
Well, here I come back, I think I bring what you want to see, if not this, let me know what else I can do, in truth I'd like Bilbo work well with Typepad, I am also sure many others use this service. Please, if this can help, maybe take a look at link I added in the bug report. I changed to Mandriva, I liked how it works. ========== [adrian@localhost ~]$ bilbo Bilbo Blogger 1.0 bilbo(19564) global_init: bilbo(19564) MainWindow::MainWindow: bilbo(19564) Toolbox::Toolbox: bilbo(19564) DBMan::DBMan: [adrian@localhost ~]$ bilbo(19564) Toolbox::reloadLocalPosts: bilbo(19564) DBMan::DBMan: bilbo(19564) DBMan::DBMan: Wallet successfully opened. bilbo(19564) DBMan::connectDB: bilbo(19564) DBMan::listBlogs: Password loaded from kde wallet. bilbo(19564) DBMan::listLocalPosts: bilbo(19564) Toolbox::reloadLocalPosts: 0 bilbo(19564) DBMan::DBMan: Wallet successfully opened. bilbo(19564) DBMan::connectDB: QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'qt_sql_default_connection' is still in use, all queries will cease to work. You did the job! But you forgot to click on "Reload categories list", to fetch categories list! Please try again, and do what you did(try to fetch categories list) and then paste here the output! tnx
Perhaps this is what you need to see. Here you can see the error, Unknown method I mention in the first post.
