Description madgenius 2010-01-14 15:15:17 UTC
Version: 1.12.4 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4) "release 2", KDE:43 / openSUSE_11.2)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.8-0.1-desktop

I have setup different identities in Kmail to deal with multiple gmail accounts - so I have a different set of inbox, sent mail and draft folder for each account.

In the message layout, I have chosen to display the columns - subject, sender/receiver and date. For one of my email accounts, kmail does the job perfectly. The inbox foler shows subject, sender and date, whereas the sent-mail folder shows subject, receiver and date.

However, this order is not maintained for my other email accounts. The inbox folders show subject, sender and date(which is correct); the sent-mail folder shows subject, sender and date - instead of subject, receiver and date which is what should be displayed.

I have the same column display settings for all the email accounts, and so it is strange to see this weird behaviour.

Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
