Description Pramathesh Ambasta 2010-01-14 09:35:50 UTC
Application that crashed: plasma-desktop
Version of the application: 0.3
KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31-17-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10

What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was reading email in thunderbird. I received a kpackagekit notification that some security updates were available. I reviewed the updates and asked them to be applied. I was informed by Kpackagekit that it could not obtain an exclusive lock to the package database. Soon afterwards I received a message that there a plasma crash of some sort. Cannot decided whether it was Kpackagekit or Thunderbird which was directly involved.
