Description Syam 2010-01-14 03:02:14 UTC
Version: 1.69.0 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

The 'Current Projects' banner that appears above the project pane when one or more projects are open is too big that it wasts quite a lot of screen area.
Even on wide-screen monitors, the vertical space is what we need for file listings in the project pane and hence, IMHO, this banner is too thick for any practical purpose.

Please consider making it thinner.

Hi, you can turn it off by unchecking "Settings" -> "Panels" -> "Show Projects Header"

Thanks. That works well. I guess it's only a matter of what should be the default. You can close the bug if you figure the current default is fine.
Thanks again.

Thickness of this banner depends on the theme. I agree that this header is probably too wide. It's sometimes to think about when new theme will be designed. In the meantime I'll change severity to "wishlist"

Has this been fixed in the new theme? If so, we can close this.

The banner in current versions seem to be fine. So I'm closing this report. Thanks.
