Description hoea 2010-01-13 10:18:06 UTC
Version: kde 4.3.4 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

i have same emails addresses where the full name includes non-ascii characters like öäß eg. my name is Hörandl

krunner finds this adresses but after starting kmail these names are unreadable

Example
1) alt-f2
2) Hör
3) select "Email to August Hörandl"
4) kmail start with To: August Hrandl

see screenshot

I can confirm this bug. Happens here with Gentoo Linux and KDE 4.3.4, so we cannot exclude distribution-specific reasons...

Currently the mailto feature is removed.

Marking this as a duplicate, so that in case we reimplement it we do it properly :-).
