Description Simon Law 2001-03-12 19:05:49 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: 1.0.1

Description:

konsole allows you to choose proportional fonts and that's not good. When
a proportional font is selected the font width is set to the largest
character width and that breaks the font output.

Recommendation:

Allow konsole's font chooser to only select fixed width fonts. (i.e. make
it act like the Fixed Font form in the KDE Control Panel.)

I have just discovered this bug (and reported it seperately) inside the=20
konsole tab of kdevelop. There appears to be no way to control the font th=
at=20
kdevelop sets for this window so the fix inside konsole of limiting the fon=
t=20
to fixed needs to propagate out to the applications.
