Version of the application: 0.3
KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31-17-generic-pae i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10

What I was doing when the application crashed:
When I initialized my first session on Kubuntu, and I plugged in my iPod, the KDE desktop crashed down, and in a couple of seconds it returns to normality.

it crashes in libindicate, so it seems to be a kubuntu specific bug. you should report it there. thank you

As Beat Wolf said, the crash is in libindicate. Kubuntu 9.10 provided an update
for this. If your version of libindicate3 is 0.2.3-0ubuntu1, updating to
0.2.3-0ubuntu2 should fix it. If it does not please report the bug on
libindicate bug tracker: https://bugs.launchpad.net/libindicate
