The NM Plasma widget is not ready yet and it should not be used. You can remove the networkmanager widget package/build (or manually edit the Plasma configurations) in order to disable the widget and be able to start Plasma This is probably related to bug 198522 @Will: what do you think ? Regards
Ok, Dario. But well, plasma should tell me that a plamoid was doing bad things instead of keep crashing.... not?
That could be a good/friendly option but I don't know if it can be done. In any case it should be evaluated by the Plasma developers (I'm only a contributor). Regards
