Description Christian Trippe 2010-01-09 19:52:11 UTC
Version: 4.4 rc1 (using 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)) "release 208", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.8-0.1-default

In kaddressbook from KDE 4.3 it was possible to have user defined fields.

If one has one contact with such user defined fields, these are still presented with kaddressbook from KDE SC 4.4, but they are not editable via the UI.

This also means you cannot add new ones.

Hej Christian,

this feature hasn't it made to this new version of KAddressBook (not enough man power for porting)
but it will be back in a future version for sure.
In the meantime the custom fields are preserved and won't be lost on editing the contact.

Ciao,
Tobias
