Version: (using Devel) Compiler: g++ 4.3 OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources running 'add widgets' shows a list of widgets, but the mouse-over information dialog is very big and on a small screen makes it difficult to add widget directly above the add widget bar. See screenshot: unable to add widget to desktop because the mouseover information dialog is in the way. In the screenshot you can see I am trying to add the 'blackboard' widget, but unable to due to the information dialog. http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/1584/snapshot1n.jpg
Hi Slash, You can workaround it this way: just start to drag the plasmoid anywhere on the desktop outside of the mouse-over information: the information will disappear and you can drop the plasmoid at its place. Cheers.
What is weird is that the mouse over sometimes disappear when you comes over it while dragging a plasmoid, thus no problem. And sometimes you have to move outside the mouse-over info to make it disappear (the work-around i said).
but unfortunatly, very inconvenient on the eepc 7". As you can see from the screenshot there is a lot of redundant space in the information mouseover. that is what i would like to reduce, so the whole information mouseover tooltip is smaller. At the moment the content it shows (author, email url, license) and the size of the tooltip do not fit verywell.
thanks for the newly sized (smaller) information popup, but at the moment it seems to be jerkier, leaving traces of edges, and not as smooth as compared to the default taskbar widget mouseover.

Works for me, the popup disapears as soon as drag and drop starts.
