Version:           kio_sysinfo (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

I installed the NVIDIA driver rpm 190.42. However, when I start " sysinfo " under Display Info it shows the " Driver " Unknown. My distro is openSUSE 11.2.
 
The driver version number should always appear next to the " Driver " field.

Before installing Nvidia driver, sysinfo module shows Display Info as:

Vendor:  nVidia Corporation
Model:  GeForce 8600 GTS
Driver:  nv

However after installing Nvidia driver, and creating/updating xorg.conf file, sysinfo shows Display Info as:

Vendor:  nVidia Corporation
Model:  GeForce 8600 GTS
Driver:  Unknown

To find out the correct information that should appear in Display Info:

Open konsole or xterm and type in:

glxinfo | grep -i OpenGL

Immediately after viewing sysinfo, I opened .xession-errors with kwrite:
